Choosing Drake Maret to be our realtor was the best decision my husband and I made when we bought our house. From the very first meeting we had with him, Drake was professional, knowledgeable, and most importantly, patient. We knew almost nothing about buying a house and Drake went above and beyond to educate us and make us feel comfortable throughout our search and final purchase of a house. Drake was always available to us, whether in person at one of the many showings he set up for us, or by text, phone, or email whenever we had questions, no matter how small. Drake Maret provided an exceptional experience during our first home buying process. The first thing we noticed about Drake was his amazing personality. His charisma was matched equally by his enthusiasm and passion for real estate. The second thing that sold us on Drake was his extensive knowledge  of the areas we were looking at (University City, Webster Groves, Kirkwood, Tower Grove, Maplewood and South City) and his ability to breakdown the entire process (from showings to closing) in an easily understandable format. After we decided to go with Drake, the showings began and his motto from the beginning was "I am not going to sell you a house, but help you find the right house for YOU." Drake immediately started to send us houses that fit our criteria and he would either compile a list that we would knock out on a Saturday/Sunday (coffee provided) or, if he thought the house would move fast, he would get us in immediately. His responsiveness via text/phone/email was what you would expect of a high-performing professional. Everything that we have mentioned above is what it took for us to close on our dream home. The listing was posted on a Tuesday and Drake brought it to our attention while we were looking at another listing that same night. He immediately called the other agent and made sure we were the very first showing when the house officially went on the market that Friday. Friday came and we toured the home and fell in love. Drake had the contract ready and we signed it on the hood of a car right then and there. Drake's recommendations on what to offer and to write a letter to the sellers telling them who we are and how much we loved the house proved to be the edge we needed. Multiple offers were put on the house the first day and Drake went into overdrive. He quickly developed a relationship and was in constant contact with the listing agent. Ultimately, Drake's relationship with the agent combined with our offer and note (yes, the note was mentioned specifically!) were the key factors in us winning our new home in a very competitive, multiple offer situation. After going under contract, Drake continued to work closely with the listing agent to ensure that the process was smooth and pleasant. In the end, both the sellers and us (the buyers) got exactly what we wanted. Lastly, I truly believe that who you work with speaks volumes about who you are as a professional. The recommendations that Drake provided for our inspection, mortgage lender and homeowners insurance were amazing. All three provided an elite level of customer service and eased our fears and worries in regards to those aspects of the home buying process. Drake will always be our agent and friend.

Drake has been an incredible realtor.
